Founders and friends, Bart Guyer and Dale Korn, started working toward the opening of Boat Town in 2014. After numerous brewcations throughout the country, they still longed for that place to call their own, in their own backyard, to share with friends and neighbors.
Welcome to Boat Town Brewing. Relax and enjoy the experience of great craft brews in our backyard style beer garden complete with corn hole, frisbee games, and yardzee, or chill in our tasting room and brewery where community thrives.
And now open, a tasty addition to our compound: Boondocks Woodfired Kitchen! The little house next door is now a fully operational smokehouse with take-out windows specializing in hand made everything.
Whether you are a local from down the road or a traveler on I-44 adding a brewery stop to your itinerary, this is your place.
This is it. You've found it. You probably didn't know what you were looking for, but you were looking. It's that cross between the comfortable familiarity of your favorite coffee shop and that amazing vacation you took way too long ago. Gather your friends and family and head on over to Boat Town. And allow plenty of time, we are a Destination.
Now Open! Boondocks Woodfired Kitchen
Take a stroll across the beer garden for the best selection of in-house smoked meats, hand-cut fries, house-made salads and sauces, and decadent desserts! We offer a varied menu daily, take-out style so you can grab a bite and keep your spot at the fire.
We offer several beer styles simply because we are lovers of all beer. Local favorites vary greatly between our unfiltered German hefeweizen to our barrel aged barley wines. Our flagship, Perficle, always comes in first and often sells out.
Good beer with good friends can happen anywhere with our 32 oz. Crowler to go! These handsome fellas pack in and pack out with ease. Cooler friendly, lightweight, and no glass to break. We've even heard they fly well! Your favorite stays fresh for a month, but we doubt it will last that long.
We carry a wide variety of Missouri wines ranging from sweet to dry, by the glass or by the bottle. Ask what's new! We like to add whatever tasty bottles we happen upon in our travels!
Sometimes it's nice to end the evening with a little extra. We keep T's Moonshines and Aker's Whiskey in house just for those moments. Crafted down the road in Lebanon, we think you will find a flavor that will keep you here just a bit longer.
Didn't know we were here? Look a little harder. We are tucked in on original Rte 66 in an area we call the Campground Road Compound! (That is, exit 123 on I44) Vintage travels, vintage campgrounds, house-smoked meats, and craft beer? Yes, please!
In a world full of chain restaurants, big box stores, and one-uppers, isn't it refreshing to know the people in your community creating recipes, brewing, and improving just for you? We want that too. It's why we're here.
